Jordan Hee Shan Yung from Year 11 Science from Chung Ching Middle School, Seria, won the prestigious ICAS medal for his outstanding performance in the ICAS Science and Mathematics tests 2022.

ICAS stands for International Competitions and Assessments for Schools, and is an online comparison designed specifically for primary and secondary schools. It is conducted annually by Janison, an Australian-based EdTech pioneer, across Australia and over 20 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, Pacific countries and America.

The ICAS medal and medal winner’s certificate is awarded to the student with the top score in their year level for a subject in each participating country.
