Congratulations to Team CCMS for winning the Consolation Prize for the first Brunei Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Game-Based Competition 2015 which was hosted on 1st December, Tuesday at the Royal Brunei Recreation Club (RBRC) in Berakas.

This competition was jointly organised by the Science, Technology and Env-ironment Partnership (STEP) Centre under the Ministry of Education, together with Telekom Brunei Berhad (TelBru), a collaboration aimed to promote the development of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) among Brunei schoolchildren.

In the secondary school category, four students from Yr 10 Science, namely, Foo Jiong Yang, Haarnieqa Saang Aanak Chabu, Regina Mook Shi Yee and Mek Shuet Yi received a cash prize of BND 100 and certificates for creating a mathematics computer game named “Pythagorean Triples”. The supervising teacher of this project is Ms Liong Boi Inn, a mathematics teacher in secondary section.

The deputy minister visited CCMS exhibition booth
