19th April 2018 was marked as another important day in Chung Ching Middle School’s history as the school’s debate team met St.Andrew’s School’s team in final rounds of English Language Debate Competition 2018, debating on the topic, Higher Education is the Key for Successful Employment’. In the final round which was held in St.Andrew’s school hall, Chung Ching’s team consisting of Patricia Sim, Varman Balamurali and NurAmalina, which was coached by Mr Tan Cho Sian and Mdm Malar Veny Mariappan had made the school proud by emerging as the 1st runner up. Varman Balamurali was also awarded as the Best Speaker throughout the competition.
