Lee Chao Cherng and Tham Zhi Lin from year 7 of Chung Ching Middle School, Seria, teamed up as the ‘Smarty Pants’ and managed to win second place in the final round of Oil and Gas Discovery Centre Science Show Competition which was held on Sunday, 12 August 2018, at UBD Core theatre. In the competition which was aimed to promoting science in a fun and exciting manner, the ‘Smarty Pants’ showcased their talent by performing 3 experiments named, Refraction of light, Cloud making and Breaking of Ruler. These scientific acts of theirs helped them to bag the second place and took home a cash prize of BND350. Congratulation to the team.
