Terms and Conditions for CCMS Scholarship and Incentives Awards

Scholarship and incentives are instituted to encourage students with outstanding performance in the public examinations to continue their secondary education in this school and help them achieve quality education.

Eligibility Criteria for the Scholarship Award

Entitlement to pupils who score :

  • 5As in PSR.
  • Minimum annual average 85% and above in Year 8 SPA
  • Score of A in Chinese First Language and an A in Conduct.

A.1   Scholarship holders must maintain a pass in all subjects. They must score a minimum annual average of 85% in the lower and upper secondary. Must also maintain a score of A in Chinese First Language and an A in Conduct.

  • The scholars will forfeit the scholarship if they fail to score as stated.
  • The school will assess the eligibility.

Eligible Criteria for the Incentive Award

  • Pupils who score 5As in PSR and continue their education in this school but fail to satisfy ‘A.1’ will be given a cash incentive of or a gift worth B$100.
  • Students who score 8Os with 6As or better in GCE will be given a cash award of B$50, 8As or better B$80 and 8A1s or better B$100 as incentives.
  • Score of A in Chinese First Language and an A in Conduct.
  • If the students eligible for the award are sponsored by other organization, they will be given B$100 at the end of the academic year.
  • The administrative staff will examine all applications concerned before submitting to the School Inspector of the Board for approval.
  • The school reserves the right to amend any of the stated stipulations/items and conditions and incorporate new ones and publish such after amendment.
  • The terms and conditions for the award of scholarships and incentives have been amended and approved by the Board of Directors on 21 January 2022.
