Mathematics Treasure Hunt 2018 was organized by Chung Ching’s Math Department for its secondary students on 11 July 2018. The activity was aimed to stimulate the interest of students in mathematics through games and outdoor activities.

The students were divided into 6 teams comprising 4 students from Yr7, Yr8, Yr9 and Yr10 each. Each team was given a treasure hunt map that showed the location of ALL stations. They were required to complete all the quizzes at all the stations in order to collect the puzzle pieces which were required to be put together at the end of the hunt after answering a set of Math Questions.

The First three teams were Team Blue ( Cindy, Ashley, Wong Yung Xing and Hiew Jong Siang), Orange team ( Ten Ming Song, Risha Rajeev, Aryan Sivajothi and Fuji Shim) and Yellow team (Foo Jia Chee, Elaine Tan, Jong Shui Chqi and Loo Chun Yung). They were all awarded with certificates on 19 July 2018.
